Since Forever

It has been awhile since this "Blog" has been updated. I accept full blame for this lack of attention. So, I will try to do some summing up of what has been going on.

BBQ's: Anna and I hosted a BBQ at our house. So has Amber and Rob and Julie Aronowski. All in all, they have been a lot of fun. Good times to catch up on what each other are doing and whatnot. Events of note so far:

At the Aronowski's place, there next door neighbour's Jack Russel slipped through the fence, even though it had a cone on it's head, and started greeting people. In the midst of it's greeting, it dribbled pee on van der Ham's clothes. Pretty cool.

Really, I can't think about anything else.

Park: We've spent some time in parks. I missed one due to our churches annual general meeting, but the one I was at was a lot of fun. Mostly just hanging out again. I believe some people wandered down to the river to swim/wade. Others wandered through the water park for similar reasons. Some sports may have been experimented with. I am unsure.

Games Night: Last Thursday, we had a games night at the church. There were games of Uno, Spoons, Dance Dance Revolution Mario Mix (with TWO dance pads) and more. We had one of our new members out, a recent grad by the name of Becca. She braved the game of spoons and was quoted saying, "You guys are way intense" or something like that. Promptly after saying that, she had to dive at the ground to get a spoon and instead of going for the spoon, actually began wrestling another young adult, incapacitating her enough so that Becca could reach the last spoon and not receive a letter. Yes, how intense we are.

Our camping trip to Monck Park (just outside of Merritt) is coming up shortly and a chunk of us are going to be heading up north to Rough Acres camp to help there for a week. As for Kamloops Wide Young Adults things, I have not heard of one since the week we were supposed to go bowling and no one showed up at the parking lot we were meeting at except for Heather. Instead of bowling, we just chatted for a while. If you do know of anything, or if Al is alive, let me know.
